Starting My Own Web Design Business — Looking for Networking Advice

Hoi allemaal,

Apologies for writing in English — my Dutch isn’t quite there yet! 😊

Even though I’ve been living in the Netherlands for about four years, a few months ago I made a big change and left my role as a Product Designer at Uber to start my own web design business. As I’m still building my professional network here, I realize there’s a lot of competition, and it can feel a bit overwhelming at times.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend good places, forums, or events where I can connect with other professionals and grow my network? Or maybe share some tips on effective ways to advertise and attract new clients?

I’m really glad I found this forum because, to be honest, it’s been a bit of a challenging journey. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
