The Business in Development Challenge is an international business plan competition. The first edition in 2005 was a great success: 80 full fledged business plans were developed and over 20 BiD entrepreneurs have already started their business. This year €150.000 in start-up prizes is available for feasible plans that combine poverty reduction with income generating business in a developing country.
