Hello! I have recently started a business with a partner to train groups of children (ages 8-12) on social skills through 2-hour workshops. I have heard from someone that in order to do any sort of business that involves children, we would need to register to an association regarding our profession. I know this association exists for, for instance, psychologists doing psychotherapy with children. However, we will be mostly training children in communication skills via games, which doesn't involve any intervention or diagnosis regarding mental health. Our activities do not target children with diagnosed health issues. Moreover, we are not providing child care. If relevant: Me and my partner have backgrounds in Psychology, Educational Sciences, and Pedagogy (research masters and PhD). Does anyone have any information with regard to this issue?
