Hello, I am about to buy a house with an office space (it was originally a garage under the house) but I want to use it as a living space and possibly rent. If I buy it now as an office space to convert later, I have to pay 8% tax above the price of that space, which is a lot!. How can I officially turn this place to a living space before signing the final deed in notary? I can ask the current owner to cooperate if that is needed. By the way, we emailed the municipality and they are fine with it . Ps: I can read Dutch.
