      Hello, I am interested in opening a company to continue working for my former employer, as I have recently moved to the Netherlands from Poland. However, the company's legal department is hesitant to sign off on a freelancer contract for me, as they are afraid that they will be penalized for not paying taxes on my behalf in the Netherlands. Is this possible? If I pay my own taxes and VAT, and insurances, would they still be liable for paying any expenses on behalf? I would appreciate any advice.
