  1. Dear community, I’d really appreciate your advice. I live in the Netherlands as the partner of a highly skilled migrant and I have the right to work. At the moment, I’m not employed, but I do have a small freelance activity. I mentor students online, supporting them with scholarship and university applications, internships (including international programs), English, and application documentation. I hold a Master’s degree in International Relations and have experience with scholarships and internships myself. Currently, my income is modest - around €250 per month (€3,000 per year) - and I’m still in the early stage, with the intention to grow over time. My question is: is it acceptable to register as a ZZP with this level of income, or are there any concerns I should be aware of as a new expat in the Netherlands?
