Hi Ron, I've signed up for a yearly subscription in 2024 for a membership in https://zorgvoorzzp.nl/en/. I got an invoice from them at the time of enrollment. That does not indicate any aromatic renewal.

Hey entrepreneurs, I have a question, and I hope you can guide me or direct me to the right person. Do you know if a company can charge another company (me) by automatic SEPA payment without a previous notification? This is about a dispute on a yearly subscription by automatic SEPA payment at the company, called Zorg voor ZZP. I made a subscription with them in 2024, and I didn’t use any of their services. Now they charged me by Sepa automatic payment in 2024 and then again in February 2026 without any reminder that the subscription would be renewed. I reversed the payment for it refunded for 2026. Then they have sent several invoices for the 2026 subscription fees, telling me that they need a 2-month prior notification from me to cancel the subscription. In the EU, is it legal for a company to automatically charge another company for a subscription without prior notification?
