Hallo, in oktober heb ik via Ebay in US een versnellingsbak van een klassieke Lotus gekocht. Verkoopprijs en verzendkosten betaald aan verkoper ( goede feedback ).

 

Tot op de dag van vandaag nog niet binnen en ik krijg het gevoel dat ik aan het lijntje wordt gehouden. Mede door het feit dat de verkoper niet meer mijn vragen voor updates beantwoord.

 

Onderstaande gegevens omtrent de zending heb ik van hem gekregen:

Voor de grap op de site van Mainfreight het nummer van de house b/l ingegeven en dit is het resultaat. Het document is voor een zending in 2010 gebruikt. Misschien dat de experts weten of zo'n nummer vaker kan worden gebruikt.

Zover ik weet is een B/L nummer uniek.

Hello Steve,

 

this keeps going on and on and on. Everytime you have a different excuse and tell me you get back to me with good info but you never give it. You should have the Bill of Load when the crate was out.

 

I will give you time until tomorrow to get me good info or I wll use my network and influence ( I am official Lotus parts supplier for the Factory )

and will report this issue everywhere.

I fully appreciate your frustration, but you do not need to threaten me. I have an excellent reputation everywhere and have never not done what I stated. I agree this is a mess…but not entirely of my doing. I did ship your gearbox as I stated. I did not receive the usual Bill of Lading as the crate was picked up from my office by a contracted Main Freight trucking company while I was out of town and they did not leave my staff a copy of the paperwork. I should have jumped on this more firmly at the time, but I failed to follow-up…meanwhile the crate was sitting in a customs impound at the LA Port while the strike was underway and the broker said they could not give me the load number until the shipment was actually loaded….so yes it became a series of stories and delays and ridiculous circumstances.

 

I already told you I would refund your money and then try to sort it out and recover my shipment. You do not need to insult me anymore nor threaten me with slanderous actions, it is just not necessary and serves no purpose. I was working to get your gearbox delivered, but if you just want to end this and me refund your money I will do that as I had previously offered. I am as fatigued with all of this as you are.

B/L nummer is inderdaad uniek. Verder is het aangaande de zeevracht en handling in LA een hoop ge bla bla dus zou inderdaad gewoon je geld terug vragen!

vandaag uiteindelijk geld terug gekregen via Paypal. Afgelopen weer een aantal keren contact met verkoper en wederom met allerlei excuses. Met een beetje druk is toch gelukt om hem ervan te overtuigen dat het beter was om refund te maken.

Hij ging proberen de versnellingsbak alsnog te traceren. Ik ben benieuwt, misschien wordt hij binnenkort toch nog hier afgeleverd. Waarschijnlijk niet en staat hij gewoon nog in LA.

 

Een ieder vriendelijk bedankt voor de reacties en advies.
