Starting an eenmanszaak in the Netherlands and moving abroad

Hello,

I am starting an eenmanszaak in the Netherlands to provide Product Consulting services online. I currently have an apartment rental contract in Amsterdam ending in November which I will use to register my eenmanszaak as a business address. From November onwards I will live in Spain for 3 months. Thus, I won't have an address in the Netherlands.

Can I legally keep my eenmanszaak in the Netherlands? If so, what considerations do I need to keep in mind?

Thanks a lot for your help:)

Hi Virgilio

An eenmanszaak is - for tax purposes - a resident in the country where the managent of this eenmanszaak resides. So if you move to Spain your Dutch eenmanszaak will seize to exist. Dutch Chamber of Commerce will dissolve it. You should then start as an autonomo in Spain again.

Hi Virgilio,

My suggestion would be to contact a service provider like Xolo and look at their Xolo Go solution especially if you're a digital nomad and moving around (within or outside the EU) and you're not staying more than 182 days in a country.

If it makes sense from an economical perspective i.e., your income I would look at Xolo Leap but for that you would need to become an e-Resident of Estonia.

Met vriendelijke groet,
