I am employed and I do have the 30% ruling granted from my salary. Now I started working as a freelancer (zzp) in addition to my job... 

 

Can you tell if the 30% ruling will apply to my freelancing income as well?

No, It only applies to your salary.

 

Your employer can give you a tax free amount of upto 30% of your wage roughly speaking, but he can not know whatever income else you may be generating outside of that.

 

You may get a host of other deductions and facilities on your freelance income though.

For sure, I ma not expecting my employer to consider it, but I was thinking maybe it can be considered when filing my tax return.

 

I already heard 2 different responses from Belastingdienst through twitter and when calling them over the phone. So I wanted to be sure.
