Geplaatst: 17 januari17 jan Bert. 1.9k berichten 8 Solutions 11 Trofeeën 247 Reputatie For a beginner, the best advice is to consult a customs broker/specialist. Importing requires, apart from the obvious logistics, customs import declarations, with payment of (any) import duty and import VAT. Declaration are done electronically, if you don't have your own software you will need an customs broker anyway. And that's just the beginning. If you import steel raw materials it's very likely you will have to comply with the CBAM-regulation (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) which requires you to report, and eventually pay for, the CO-2 emmissions of the imported goods.

Even it's not possible to use hawala to Iran or vice versa because of the sanctions. Right now, I'm gathering information about finances and feasibility. If it is doable to import directly from Iran to the Netherlands, and how much the expends. will be!
